After bringing back the Nike Dunk Low "Plum" in February 2020, Nike continued its revival of the iconic 2001 CO.JP "Ugly Duckling" Pack with the return of the Nike Dunk Low "Veneer." Like the
"Plum" colorway, "Veneer" had never received a retro release until 2020.
The 2020 edition of the Nike Dunk Low "Veneer" stayed true to its original design. It features a premium suede upper dressed in earthy tones of brown, vibrant green, and deep purple-delivering a nostalgic hit for fans who missed the original 2001 drop. Classic details like the mesh tongue, embroidered Nike branding on the heel, and a white midsole paired with a purple outsole round out the design.
The Nike Dunk Low CO.JP "Veneer" first rereleased in November 2020 for a retail price of $100. A second retro followed in April 2024.
