In celebration of Mamba Day on August 24, 2020, Nike introduced a new colorway for the Kobe V Protro: the Kobe V Protro Girls EYBL. The Protro series is designed to revive early Kobe models with enhanced technology and materials, ensuring their performance remains top-notch.
The Kobe V Protro Girls EYBL takes inspiration from Medusa, the fearsome Gorgon of Greek mythology known for turning her enemies to stone with a single look. Fortunately, you don’t need supernatural abilities to freeze defenders—just solid ball-handling skills. The shoe features a dark grey FlyWire upper, adorned with subtle snake graphics on each panel. Complementing this design are crisp white accents, vibrant yellow and orange interior details, and co-branded embroidery on the tongue, completing this tribute to the Mamba legacy.
The Kobe V Protro Girls EYBL was released in August 2020.
